Four people, including two women, were killed and one person was injured when a speeding truck ran over them on the Meerut-Karnal highway, police said today.
According to Circle Officer Hari Ram, the incident took place this morning, when the driver of the truck lost control over the vehicle and it ran over the people standing near a bus stop on the Meerut-Karnal highway.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, he said.
