The sting operation, which was carried out by a Delhi resident, shows three traffic constables, identified as Rajesh, Yashvir and Krishan from Nangloi, along with head constable Subhash, taking a bribe while they were at their post near Zakhira Rampura metro station.
According to police, various cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act were registered against these traffic cops on Oct. 7.
"The constables have been sent to police lines and the vigilance branch is further investigating the cases," said Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Muktesh Chander.
Chander said that the East Delhi Municipal Corporation had on Sept. 17 cancelled a parking area on Gandhi Nagar Pushta but some people were found to be arranging for parking there for a fee of Rs 50.

He added that some notices which were put up at the site to tell people that the parking in the area had been cancelled were also removed by the accused.
