In a meeting held here, the commission recommended that the Government notify 41 more citizen centric services under section 3 of the Punjab Right to Service Act, 2011.
Commission Chairman S C Agarwal said that originally 67 services were notified by the Government vide notification last year in July under the act.
He said that while implementing the recommendations of the commission the government had made certain interventions in the previous notification and the services were increased to 69.
Apart from this, the commission has also recommended amendments to three already notified services.
He said that as per data available with the commission, from the day of inception, 15,07,319 citizens have got the various services under the Act.
The Punjab Right to Service Commission has received only four Revision petitions till date.
The Commission while exercising powers to take suo-motu action has sent 12 cases to the second appellate authorities for decision.
