44,421 students clear Odisha Joint Entrance Examination

A total 44,421 students have cleared the Odisha Joint Entrance Examinations (OJEE) against he availability of 63,693 seats both in the state government and private institutions in the state.
The OJEE results were announced here today by Employment and Technical Education and Training (ET&T) minister Sanjay Dasburma.
While 8,458 students have qualified in the OJEE for Ayurveda and Homoeopathy, 8,540 qualified for Pharmacy, 6,481 in MBA, 1,669,in MCA, 16,198 in Lateral B.Tech, 3,021 in M.Tech, 1,028 in Lateral Entry MCA, 240 in Lateral Entry Pharmacy, 14 in M.Arch, 44 in M.Plan and 81 in MAM.
OJEE sources said counselling for admission would begin from June 16.
A total of 46,166 students had appeared for the OJEE at 78 centres in 19 towns and cities in the state on May 10 last.
