A report by the National People's Congress (NPC) credentials committee said, acts by the 45 deputies fromLiaoning provinceviolated the electoral law and thus their election should be nullified.
An NPC Standing Committee session voted to unseat the 45 NPC deputies, elected from the Liaoning Provincial People's Congress, for vote buying and bribery during the election in 2013, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Such dismissals in Chinese national and provincial legislatures are considered rare.
China in the last three years is carrying on with a massive anti-corruption campaign in which thousands of officials were punished.
