Nayaranaram's body was fished out from Indira Gandhi canal yesterday and was handed over to his family members after identification and postmortem, police said.
The victim was missing since November 6 from his house in Nachna area in Kabirpura village.
A missing complaint was also registered by his family members, police added.
"The matter is under investigation to ascertain whether it was suicide and murder," the police added.
