The action was taken as part of a special drive on internet cafes to check cyber offences and restrict minors from watching porn and other objectionable content online.
About 37 cases have been registered for alleged violation of different rules and regulations, in the drive conducted yesterday, a city police release said.
To curb cyber offences and to restrict minors involved in watching porn content, objectionable videos, pictures etc, and to prevent them from indulging in criminal activities against women and girls and spoiling their life in internet cafes, the South Zone cops conducted a special drive on cyber cafes under 17 police stations limits, it said.
