4kg gold recovered from abandoned vehicle

Customs officials have recovered four kg gold from an abandoned car here, official sources said today.
A team, led by customs inspector Ajay Mahant, made the recovery yesterday following a tip-off.
When the team inspected the car, they found four kg gold worth about Rs 1.21 crore.
The car has been seized and a probe is on in the matter, Mahant said.
