5 injured in three-car pile-up near Akshardham Temple

Five persons, including two women, were severely injured in a three-car pile-up near Akshardham temple here tonight.
The incident took place around 10 PM when a Tata Sumo car suddenly applied brakes and a speeding Hyundai Santro car hit it from the rear.
A Maruti Swift car hit the Santro from behind and then rammed into a divider, a police official said.
The injured were rushed to hospital and a case was registered in connection with the incident, the official added.
