5 inter-district robbers held in Mathura

Five inter-district robbers who used to loot railway passengers and pilgrims after posing as auto drivers, were arrested from here.
On a tip-off, Government Railway Police arrested the accused from the auto stand of Mathura junction, GRP, Inspector, Pankaj Lavania said.
The accused - Monu saini, Md Shakib alias Mota, Shahrukh, Zahit and Irshad alias Lallan - have confessed to their crime, they said.
According to police, the accused men used to lure people to board their auto and then loot them.
Few mobiles and other valuables were recovered from their possession, he said.
