A truck on its way to Jammu from Srinagar skidded off the road and turned turtle at Sangore bypass area of Udhampur district this morning, police said.
In the mishap, the truck helper and a passerby died while the driver and another person were injured, they said.
In another accident, an SUV skidded off the Jammu-Srinagar highway and rolled into a gorge at Kala Chapan (Kud) area in Udhampur district, killing one on the spot and injuring four others.
Another person died when an oil tanker collided with a vehicle in Kud area in Udhampur district.
One more succumbed to injuries after he was hit by a vehicle in Samba district.
Seven persons were injured when a bus turned turtle at Simbal Morh in Katra belt of Reasi district.
