5 killed as car collides with truck in UP

Five people, including two children, were killed and as many others injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a truck at Karhal crossing here this morning, police said.
The incident happened on National Highway-2 under Sirsaganj police station area when the victims were going to Auraiya to attend a wedding, Superintendent of Police Piyush Srivastava said.
The injured persons, including a woman and three children, have been admitted to a local hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, the SP said.
The identity of the victims was yet to established.
