The victims belonging to Rajasthan were returning from pilgrimage to Varanasi when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck near Jehanabad, they said.
The victims have been identified as Chitarmal Sharma (52), his wife Leela Devi (48), son Deen Dayal (28), Ram Sharan (40) and Mohan (35), police said, adding the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Allahabad.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem, they said.
