outfit People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested with arms and ammunition from Anandpur police station jurisdiction in the West Singhbhum district, the police said.
The arrests were made during a police patrolling in the Anandpur police station limits of the distirct on Monday night, said Ajay Kerketta, Sub-divisional Police Officer (Chakradharpur).
The arrested persons, all in their early twenties, were having allegiance with PLFI and were active members of the squad headed by self-styled Area Commander Lal Bahadur Singh alias Lallu of the area, he said.
The Police have recovered two country-made pistols and 12 live ammunitions from the arrested ultras, Kerketta added.
