50-yr-old milk vendor shot dead

A 50-year-old milk vendor was shot dead by two persons near Garima garden in Sahibabad here, police said.
Zakir was going on his bike to supply milk to a dairy at Durga Puri chowk in North East Delhi when the two men fired indiscriminately at him, Superintendent of Police (City) Salman Taj Patil said, adding he received around 11 bullets in his hands, thigh and chest.
He was immediately rushed to GTB hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police is investigating the case from several angles, including old enmity and monetary issues, Patil said.
Zakir was living with his in-laws in Pasonda village for last 35 years.
