50-yr-old woman stabbed to death by son

In a fit of anger, a 25-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 50-year-old mother to death after a minor spat this morning in the district's Kaithoon town, the police said.
The woman was a teacher at a government school in Barodiya village, SHO at the Kaithoon Police Station Pushpendra Singh Hada said.
The man stabbed the woman in her neck and she died on the spot, he said.
His family members, including his father, were present in the house at the time of the incident, the SHO said.
The police have booked him under section 302 (murder) of the IPC. He was arrested immediately after the incident, he said.

The body was handed over to family members after postmortem and the matter is being investigated, the officer said.
