A total 515 jawans took oath to serve the nation after the attestation-cum-passing-out parade ceremony at the subsidiary training centre (STC) of the Border Security Force.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh, the chief guest at the function, in his address emphasised on the importance of hard work, dedication to duty and high degree of integrity while discharging the duties for protection of Railway and other tasks assigned to the pass-outs.
Singh, the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, also congratulated the recruits for successfully completing their training and becoming full members of the RPSF family.
After the oath-taking ceremony, meritorious candidates Satindra Kumar, Sonu Gupta, Rinku were awarded medals for their performance during the training by Singh.

The MoS PMO also took the salute and congratulated the DIG, the training staff as well as the recruits for putting up a commendable performance in the parade, which was commanded by constable Satindra Kumar.
The attestation-cum-POP was the culmination of 26 weeks of rigorous basic training to the recruits at the the STC, which according to the institute has equipped them for performing duties for protection of railway.
