54 people injured in two road accidents in UP

Fifty-four people were injured, four of them seriously, in two separate road accidents in the district today, police said.
A Prayag Depot bus on its way to Bahraich from Allahabad rammed into a sand-laden truck on Gonda-Faizabad highway near Anbhula village under Wazirganj police station area, injuring 32 passengers, police said.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital where eight of them were admitted while others discharged after first aid, police said, adding, that the bus driver was stated to be serious.
In another incident, 22 people were injured when the Bolero in which they were travelling overturned in Wazirganj police station area, police said.
The vehicle was on its way to Khojwa village from Majhara, they said.
All the injured persons, including children, were admitted to Wazirganj community health centre from where three seriously injured were shifted to district hospital, police added.
