545 gm heroin seized

At least 545 grams of heroin was seized by Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department between Monday and Wednesday, during a state-wide bandh by NGOs.
Excise department officials said the value of the seized contraband was an estimated Rs 16.35 lakh.
Some people were arrested in this connection, the officials added.
