Addressing a review meeting with officials here Rajender said the proposals must embrace the details of funds required and expenditure incurred.
He asked district collector Neetu Prasad to send the proposals of funds required for the district accordingly.
He said Rs 1,646 crore worth 283 works were sanctioned to Roads and Buildings department in Karimnagar during 2015-16, out of which 55 works with an expenditure of Rs 232 crore were undertaken.
Similarly, 929 kms length roads with a budget of Rs 132 crore were sanctioned in 2015-16, out of which 449 kms length road repair works have been completed by spending Rs 36 crore. The remaining works to be completed by the end of March this year, the minister said.
He told the collector to spend money from the funds available for providing drinking water facilities to the public.
Government chief whip Koppula Eeshwar, Zilla Parishad chairperson Tula Uma, Peddapalli MP Balka Suman, MLCs Naradasu Laxman Rao, Bhanu Prasada Rao, MLAs and others were present at the meeting.
