55-yr-old railway employee shot at in Agra

A 55-year-old Railway employee today was seriously injured after being shot at 14 times by some unidentified assailants near Shahganj police station area here, police said.
The victim Nathilal, a grade-4 employee and resident of Lalua Malpura, was waking down to the railway station after alighting an autorickshaw in Shivnagar area when some unidentified persons came on a motorbike and shot at him, leaving him bleeding profusely, Shahganj SHO J S Asthana said.
The victim was rushed to nearby Pushpanjali hospital by passerbys, who also informed the police and the victim's son Kedarnath about the incident.
The victim's condition is stated to be serious, they said.
The SHO said that the family members of the victim are being questioned in connection with the case and investigations are on to nab the culprits.
Police is also probing if property dispute is the reason behind the crime.
