Official sources said the accused, identified as Hrangvuana of Khawmawi village in neighbouring Myanmar, was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The heroin was recovered by Central Committee of the Young Mizo Association (YMA)'s anti drug squad volunteers who then informed the Excise authorities.
