In the first phase, the scheme would be launched in the state capital Ranchi and people in other districts could avail the benefit from 28th December, Das said while inaugurating Anandlok Hospital in Chakulia, about 55 kms from here, under Ghatsila sub-division.
The government would provide Rs two lakh insurance cover to any member of the family suffering from serious disease under the scheme, an official release said.
A total of 329 mobile medical treatment vehicles equipped with modern facilities would be launched on November 15, the foundation day of the state, he said adding, 50 such vehicles would start providing the health facility in the first phase while the number of vehicles would be increased gradually.
