588 motorists penalised for violating odd-even rule

A total of 588 motorists were penalised for violating odd-even rule today.
Enforcement teams of Delhi government booked 375 violators while the others were challaned by Delhi Traffic Police, officials said.
The odd-even rules, whose violation attract a penalty of Rs 2,000 under provisions of Motor Vehicles Act, are applicable between 8 AM and 8 PM, except on Sundays.
