"We had information that the parolour was kept open beyond permissible hours following which a raid was conducted at around 1.30AM today. It was found that there were good numbers of customers who were smoking and playing snookers... Wine and food were also served for which they failed to produce any food license nor and excise license," a senior officer of the force said..
The sitting arrangement of the parlour also violated the provision of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COPTA), he said adding several wine bottles, some tobacco pots containing flavoured tobacco and a few hookas were seized from the place.
