6 cadre of different ultra outfit held

Six cadre of different militant outfit were arrested from different places in Manipur in last four days, a Manipur police release said today.
A team of Imphal East district police commando arrested an active cadre of outlawed People Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) namely Maibam Abung Singh (36) of Soibam Leikai Khanglabung Leirak of Manipur's Imphal East district on November 17 last while conducting frisking and checking at Ahallup area of the district, the press release said.
He was handed over to Heingang police station for further investigation.
On November 18 last a team of Imphal East district police commando arrested a hard core cadre of PREPAK (PRO) group identified as Joysngkar alias Loyamba (28) of Lairikyengbam Leikai in Imphal East district from his residence, the release said.

A combined team of Imphal East district police commando and 16 Assam Rifles arrested a member of outlawed militant outfit People Revolutionary Front (RPF) identified as Wahengbam Tombi Meitei (23) of Keibi Heikak Mapal at present residing at Ongshum Mayai Leikai of Imphal East district, the release said.
On November 8 last a team of Imphal East district police commando arrested one cadre of outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) identified as Md Habibur (28) of Yairipok Ningthounai Mayai Leikai in Thoubal district while conducting search operation at Mantripukhri Bazaar area in Imphal East district, the same release said.
Meanwhile, two active cadre of KCP identified as Md Kurban (28) and Md Harish alias Amuba (25) both from Karang Umang Leikai in Manipur's Imphal East district were arrested with some articles.
