6 child labourers rescued, 3 held

Six minors who were serving as labourers here were rescued today by the anti-human trafficking squad of Jaipur police.
According to police, the six minors, all between eight and 16 years of age, were working at various eateries and food stalls in the LBS College-Raja Park area of the city.
Among the rescued, four belong to Bihar while the remaining two are from Madhya Pradesh, police said.
Three persons have been arrested for using the minors as labourers with cases having been booked against them under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000, and relevant sections of IPC, police added.
