6 IIS officers transferred, 5 assigned various ministries for

Six Indian Information Service (IIS) Group 'A' officers were transferred and five others were assigned the responsibilities of publicity works of various ministries and departments, according to an official order.
On February 2, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry had transferred 29 officers, while 24 officers were shifted on January 24, and 20 another on January 17. In November, 20 officers were transferred.
The ministry's order today said the transfers/postings of the IIS Group 'A' officers are with immediate effect.
Nanu Bhasin, serving as the Additional Director General (Media and Communications) in the Press Information Bureau (PIB), New Delhi has been allotted ministries of human resource development, social justice and empowerment, tribal affairs, tourism and culture for publicity and media related works.
M Nagendra Swamy, who was ADG (M&C) in Hyderabad has been transferred to Delhi and will look after the media related works of ministries of electronics and information technology, earth sciences and, science and technology.
Devpreet Singh, who was ADG (News) in All India Radio, New Delhi will work at AIR office in Chandigarh, while Saraswati R Kuwalekar, who was working as deputy director at Doordarshan Kendra (DDK)-Mumbai, has been transferred to Doordashan News, New Delhi.
Saurabh Singh, deputy director (M&C), PIB, New Delhi will look after the publicity works of ministry of food processing industries, while Anshuman Mishra has been assigned Finance Commission.
Akhilesh Kumar Sharma and Manisha H Prakash, serving as assistant directors (M&C), PIB, New Delhi will look after the social media of the PIB, the order said.
