Heads of six leading Indian international schools will be visiting Australia later this month as part of the South Asia International High Schools Mission to the country.
A 15-member delegation from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will include directors, principals and heads of the International Baccalaureate Organisations and International General Certificate of Secondary Education- accredited international schools.
"The mission will expose international schools in South Asia to emerging career options in Australia. We also hope that the visit will lead to increased partnerships between Australian universities and schools in South Asia leading to exchange programmes," said Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Leonie Muldoon.
The delegation will visit The University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University, Taylor's College, The University of Notre Dame, Griffith University, Bond University, Southern Cross University and Charles Darwin University.
