Six people, including five members of a family, died when the vehicle in which they were travelling fell into a deep ravine in northwest Pakistan, police said today.
The incident occurred at Thandyani, a hill station located at Abbotabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they said.
The ill-fated family was going to Thandyani from Rawalpindi to attend a condolence meet. On the way, the driver lost control over the vehicle near Thandyani top due to poor condition of the road and it fell into the ravine, police said.
All the five members of the family and the driver lost their lives in the mishap, they said.
