6 killed, three injured in road accident in Nashik

Six persons were killed and three others injured today in a head-on collision between a truck and a van at Gopalwadi village on Manmad-Yeola road in the district, police said.
The accident took place when the van was going to Yeola from Manmad and the truck was coming from the opposite direction, they said.
Four of the deceased were identified as Anil Patel (20), Anil Khirade (20), Rahul Babania (22) and Pankaj Bagel (24), police said.
The injured were admitted to Nashik civil hospital, they said.
