Weaver S Pocham (60) was alone in his house in Pragathi Nagar of Sircilla town near here when it caught fire accidentally this morning, Sircilla DSP D Narsaiah said.
His family members were living separately, the DSP said.
Police suspect that the blaze erupted from a lantern in the hut.
A case has been registered while further probe was on, he said.
