Over 6000 runners from across the country participated in the 2nd edition of Noamundi Run-a-thon here on Sunday, organisers said.
The Run-a-thon was held in 10 km and 7 km categories for men and women, 5 km run for boys and girls under the age of 16 years from schools and colleges and 2 km run for persons with disability.
Organized by the Tata Steel, the run-a-thon drew its theme from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) initiative of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Runners from Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar took part in the event.
