65 sovereigns gold jewellery, Rs 70,000 cash stolen from house

About 65 sovereigns of gold jewellery and Rs 70,000 in cash were stolen by unidentified persons early today after breaking open the door of a house near Kumbala in the district, police said.
No arrest has been made so far in connection with it, police said.
The burglary occurred in the house of one Abdul Muneer, a businessman.
