66 police officers promoted in J-K

Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued orders of promotion to 66 officers, including 14 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) and 52 Head Constables (HCs) in Ministerial Executive (General) and Telecom Cadres.
The orders were issued by the Police Headquarters here yesterday, a police spokesman said adding, 14 ASIs have been promoted as SIs and 52 HCs as ASIs.
Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok Prasad has congratulated the promoted officers and has stressed upon them to re-dedicate themselves for public service with more zeal and dedication, the spokesman said.
