A police party intercepted a truck coming from Rajouri to Jammu in Bakshinagar area of the city last evening and seized 22.5 kg of poppy, police officials said.
Two persons have been arrested and the truck has been impounded, they said.
In another incident, a police team seized nine kg of poppy from a tempo which was on its way to Jammu from Kashmir, they said.
One passenger was arrested.
A police party today stopped one two-wheeler coming from Miran Sahib towards Satwari at Gadhigarh in the city. Five gm of heroine was seized from its driver following which a case was registered.
During a search of the three passengers, 270 gm of cannabis was seized.
Cases have been registered in all the incidents and further investigations are underway to ascertain the source and destination of the drug, they said.
