At least seven people are dead in Brazil after a passenger bus was forced off a bridge when another vehicle tried to pass it.
Highway police in the northeastern state of Bahia say the bus swerved to avoid being hit by a passing van.
The bus then fell about 65 feet into a river below last night. At least 28 other passengers were injured in the incident.
The highway police today said they have arrested the driver of the van that allegedly caused the accident, and are trying to determine if the man had been drinking.
