7 more die of swine flu in Raj; toll climbs to 183

Seven more persons have succumbed to swine flu in Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, raising the toll due to the H1N1 virus to 183 this year, an official of Medical and Health Directorate (MHD) said here today.
Out of 3,302 patients tested positive for the virus, 183 have died since January 1 this year, the official said.
So far, Jaipur has reported 31 deaths due to the H1N1 virus, maximum in the state, followed by Ajmer 25, Jodhpur 20, Nagaur 18, Barmer 15, Kota 9, Sikar and Chittorgarh 7 each, Banswara 6, Bhilwara, Tonk, Bikaner, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Pali 4 each, while one to three deaths occurred at other places in the state.
