The Haryana government today suspended seven officers and officials for "neglecting" complaints lodged on 'CM Window', a web portal launched for redressal of citizens' grievances.
Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rakesh Gupta ordered the suspension of seven officers and officials of the Development and Panchayat and Medical Education and Research departments, said an official release.
He also ordered issuance of chargesheets to eight officers and officials, demanded explanation from two officers and one official, initiated disciplinary action against three government employees and dismissed a contractual employee.
Gupta also said action would be taken against those misusing the portal by lodging false complaints to harass the officials.
The developments came at a meeting to review the functioning of 'CM Window', which was presided by Gupta.
Those suspended include Rajender Prasad, Chief Medical Officer, Medical Education and Research Department, posted in Jagadhri, for allegedly submitting a "misleading" report to the state government on a private nursing school at Gohana in Sonipat district.

He said a 'satisfaction' column was introduced on 'CM Window', where complainants could give their feedback.
