755 Indians went missing in 29 countries in past 3 years: Govt

As many as 755 Indians went missing in 29 foreign countries in the past three years and 198 of them were traced.
Lok Sabha was informed about it by Minister of State for Overseas Indian Affairs V K Singh.
As per details placed by Singh, a maximum of 176 Indians went missing in Saudi Arabia since 2013 followed by 173 in the US in the same period.
Only 12 Indians could be traced in Saudi Arabia while 34 Indians were traced in the US out of those who went missing.
A total of 161 Indians went missing in 2013 in 29 countries out of whom 46 were traced while in 2014, 94 out of 387 were found.
As per the information, 207 Indians went missing in 2015 of whom 58 were traced. 139 India missions have not reported any case of missing Indian.
