woman were shot at during a clash between two groups at Kumrokhali under Basanti police station in South 24 Parganas district tonight, police said.
The reason behind the clash was land related problems, police said but unconfirmed reports said this could be linked to politics.
The victims were first taken to Canning Sub-divisional Hospital and later shifted to a government hospital in Kolkata.
