The incident occurred near Alakhpura village under Laxmangarh police station area when a passenger jeep collided head-on with a pick-up jeep which was transporting milk to a dairy, police said.
Three persons died on the spot and five succumbed to their injuries in a hospital.
Seven of the deceased were identified as Vijendra, Khushi, Manbhari Devi, Jagdish, Prem Kumar, Vimla, and Sitaram, they said, adding, that the injured were being treated in the hospital.
All the deceased were the occupants of the passenger jeep, police added.
