8 killed in two separate accidents in MP

Eight persons were today killed and five others injured in two separate accidents in the district, police said.
Five persons, travelling on two separate motorbikes were killed, when their vehicles at breakneck speed collided head-on at Rehati tehsil, about 100 kms from district headquarters, additional superintendent of police (ASP) AP Singh said.
The deceased have been identified as Satish and Upnesh, staffers of Rehati government hospital, besides Tulsiram, Dipak and Jitendra, he said adding all of them were local residents.
In another accident, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) hit a road-side tree killing three of its occupants on the spot and injuring five others in Asta tehsil, around 50 kms from here, the ASP added.

He said the deceased were identified as Raj Badhori, Manoj Giri and Govind Raghuvanshi.
The victims hailed from Bhopal. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in the state capital, he added.
Two separate cases were registered, Singh said adding a probe was on.
