Eight students of the Delhi School of Journalism were suspended for allegedly "disrupting classes" and "obstructing official work", said an official from the college.
Sources claimed that later, the students' suspension was revoked following student protests.
One of the students, who was suspended, said, "We have been staying in the college since yesterday because despite paying high fees, they (the institute authorities) do not even have functional computers inside the college.
