8-yr-old mauled in suspected panther attack

An eight-year-old boy was mauled to death allegedly by a panther in the Banswara district of Rajasthan, the police said.
The victim, Ishwar, had gone to graze cattle last evening and did not return till late.
His mutilated body was found close to a farm in the forest area under Arthuna police station area, the police said.
"The area has the movement of panthers and it is suspected that the boy was attacked and killed by a panther. The body was handed over to family members after postmortem today," a police official said.
