84 children reunited with families till date under 'Op Milap'

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has successfully reunited seven more children with their families under its 'Operation Milap', taking the total number of those reunited till date to 84.
Under this project, launched on December 18 last, 84 children have been restored with their families so far.
"Seven children aged between five and 17 years were united recently with their families. Since the last four months, we have restored 84 children with their families," said Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav.
The children, aged between five and 17 years, belonged to states like Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi itself, he added.
During this special drive, Crime Branch officials checked each and every child in the children homes and make all out efforts to get any clue about their parents/home so that they can be restored properly.
Further, local police of all districts of Delhi is being asked to screen and document all the children residing in the shelter homes, railway platforms, bus stands, roads, religious places, etc. Their photographs will be taken by the concerned police officials and documentation will be undertaken to link them properly.
