Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh Yadav flagged off 88 PCR vans and 110 'leopard motorcycles' at the Harsaav Police Lines.
The SSP said well-equipped squads will be posted in the new PCR vans to keep extra vigil on criminal activities in the district.
Boosting up the morale of the police force, the SSP said "You are more equipped than the criminals and anti-social elements, and now you have to prove your mettle, so that they are either nabbed or forced to leave the district."
More than 150 CCTV cameras will be installed in Ghaziabad city to keep a watch on the criminals' movements 24x7, he said.
