88 police officers shifted in Haryana

In the latest in a series of administrative reshuffles, the newly-formed Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana has transferred 88 police officers in the state.
The state government has transferred one IPS and 87 Haryana Police Services (HPS) officers with immediate effect, an official spokesman said here today.
Since assuming office on October 25, the government had transferred more than 150 officers, including those of the rank of IAS and Haryana Civil Services (HCS) cadre.
Of the 88 officers transferred today, majority are of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
IPS officer Deepak Gahlawat, who was posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kurukshetra, has been shifted as ASP Mewat, the spokesman said.
