Two persons, who allegedly indulged in drug peddling, were Monday nabbed and 89 grams of cocaine seized from them, police said.
Joseph Almeida and U Shankar were on their way to deliver the drug to customers at Film Nagar in Banjara Hills here, they said.
Almeida, who is residing at Goa and working as a cab driver, allegedly used to purchase cocaine from Nigerians and sold it to customers at Goa and Hyderabad, police said.
He purchased cocaine for Rs 3,000 per gram and sold it at Rs 6,000-Rs 7,000 per gram, an official release said.
Joseph asked Shankar to assist him in selling cocaine in Hyderabad and agreed to pay some amount as commission, it added.
