Nine persons, including three children, died and ten others suffered injuries in two separate road accidents in Rajasthan on Tuesday, officials said.
Four men were killed and seven others injured when a jeep they were travelling in collided head-on with a mini bus in Dausa district, officials said.
The incident occurred near Sikandara area in the wee hours of Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Ramprasad (61), Hariram (49), Aman (25) and Sher Singh (23), police said.
The injured were admitted to the district hospital where their condition was said to be stable, said officials.
In Jaisalmer district, a van hit a tractor under Lathi police station limits, killing five persons, including three children, and injuring three others.
The deceased belong to two families, who were returning from Ramdevra temple. Two of the deceased were identified as Balmaram Meghwal and Premaram Meghwal, police said.
